In addition to home inspections and his television show, Mike is also a proponent of community gardening and has worked to establish square-foot gardens in his community. Mike completed the LSU AgCenter's
master gardener program in 2008 and, since that time, has worked to raise awareness of sustainable gardening practices, including the square-foot gardening techniques made famous on PBS by Mel Bartholemew.
